PT-70 9256 Digital Cross-connection equipment adopts 9U high standard 19" rack. It supports multiple analog and data access, and fiber/electronic integration. The maximum 64Kbps access capacity of PT-70 9256 Digital Cross-connection equipment is 240, and the maximum E1 access capacity is 240 as well.
PT-70 9256 Digital Cross-connection equipment can connect with other transmission equipment through its optical interface or standard E1 interface. It can realize point to point communication and point to multi-points communications by E1 or optical interface; and it can execute D/I (drop/inset) function through its own 240 E1 cross connection matrix; and it can have online test functions including remote channel circuit test and 2 wire subscriber line tests.
PT-70 9256 Digital Cross-connection equipment is provided with a powerful NMS system, by which the operating status of the network can be monitored in real time and the functions including malfunction locating, time slot reassignment and online test can be performed easily. Through the NMS platform, the functions of third party call for any time slot, sending signaling signal and audio signal, 64K error code test for E1 channel and online monitoring any channel will be realized.

* Abundant Access Interfaces
Supports different types of user services: 64Kbps co-directional and N×64Kbps synchronous data interface, 10/100M Ethernet interface, RS232 and RS485 asynchronous data interface, FXO, FXS, Hotline, Magneto, Carrier wave magneto interface and 2/4-wire E&M interface, etc.
* Powerful Net Management System
The NMS can set all operating parameters, it can measure receiving/transmitting level of the analogue interfaces and read the accurate parameters of external lines, which can make it easy and convenient to do the maintenance. Automatic online test function can realize the level test and signaling test for analog interface, the functional tests for data interfaces, and the functional tests of A/B ground, short circuit for external lines, it is very convenient to locate malfunction quickly and correctly through the NMS system.
* D/I function
The equipment can be set as D/I equipment, which makes it very flexible to drop or insert channels;
* Optional OPT optical transmission card
The optical transmission card can be selected by customer to reduce the equipment cost of the whole transmission system. The E1 interfaces of the equipment can be transmitted via optical interface. 16 E1 and 4 ETH will be transmitted via the OPT card, therein 8E1 will be transparent transmission channel, and the other 8E1 will enter E1 cross connection matrix.
* Supper Reliability
The master card integrates the power, clock and cross connection into one card, it supports redundant backup, and all types of cards support hot swappable.
* Remote Update function
The cards including master card, E1 card, OPT card and channel card support remote update function, the company will provide the update software, and the user can update the cards for the remote equipment in its NMS center.
* Unique ID card design
The ID card is inserted in the shelf; it can identify the equipment’s ID, and store the configuration data file and dynamic operating data. So if changing other functional cards will not influence NMS to identify the equipment, which makes it more stable during switching master control cards.
